Kilmihil started well and gave the league leaders plenty to think about. We missed a few scoreable chances but led 0-3 to 0-1 coming up to half time. Corofin scored 2 late points to make it level at half time. Corofin attacked very strong on the restart but Conor Finucane, Allyn Dalton and Ronan Waters ably assisted by Stan Lineen and Anthony Downes held firm. The sides exchanged points before an attack up the left wing by Stephen Coughlan put Sean Johnston in for a goal chance which was well blocked. Corofin counter attacked and Matthew Keane brought off a brillant save. The ball travelled down field rapidly and Cormac Dennihy goaled for Kilmihil.Robert Finnucane pointed to put Kilmihil 4 points entering the final 10 mins. Corofin looked dangerous on the attack and got a fortunate point, then a goal to snatch a draw.
